I found another TAAHM wiki that was abandoned. I found that the founder of the wiki had been globally banned. No one edits there, and though the page info is useless, they do have some pictures we don't have. I was thinking about having the wikis merged (as in having their wiki destroyed and having their URL as a redirect here). I'll start adding the pictures, but lemme know if you're for or against the merge.
I have given Jaume13 a three month ban. He has really crossed the line today and he needs to be punished. He was calling the new template "shit" and pretty much insulting the admins. He acts as if he runs the place and removes content from pages. I'm updating our policies page and making a blog post for them.
As for Daniel.safe35, he has been doing a great job editing. He's been helping out a lot and it seems that we are the three main editors, maybe we should talk about making Daniel an admin. After all, he works just as hard and good as us and we're the three main users, why shouldn't he be an admin like us? Just think about it. Happy editing, thanks :)
As someone who's observed a lot of wikis till now, I know that "power" gets into people's heads. You wanted to make Jaume13 an admin and look how that turned out. I'm not questioning your judgement, but really 2 admins are more than enough for a wiki like ours. I'm not one to keep all powers to myself. I did make you a B'crat afterall.
Right now the need of the hour is proper content. It is THE king. Let's concentrate on adding information, pictures and quotes to the needed articles.
That's all I'd like to say and just because you're an admin, doesn't mean you get to flex those muscles and block people. Jaume13 is wrong, but you need patience for such users. Anyway, he did need to suffer the consequences of being banned. That being said, he might not return and we need to chip in a little more. Cheer!
I honestly don't think Jaume13 should come back. Since he's caused so much conflict during the month or two he's been here, as far as I'm concerned he's no longer welcome. I was tempted to give him an infinite ban, but I decided when I let all my anger for him go (which will be approximately 3 months, give or take) he may have realized what his actions led him to and would be willing to change. When I first wanted Jaume13 as the third admin, I honestly hadn't payed too much attention to his editing record and after seeing it and the way he acts towards the admins, I'm glad I never gave him any kind of power here. Maybe he'll learn his lesson once his ban is complete. The two things I thought crossed the line was when he called the new templates "shit", which is language we don't use at this wiki and how he kept repeating it like that was just revolting. The other thing was when he said he "let" us keep the episode count or list of appearances or whatever. He doesn't "let" us do anything. He doesn't run this wiki. He contributes to it and does not do a great job. Technically, no one runs this place, but the admins are the ones that keep things in line, they're the ones with the power that they've earned (despite me receiving my admin rights the day I joined this wiki, but hey, I'm contributing and I think I'm doing a good job :P). Anyways, Jaume13 was acting as if this wiki was his and he was the leader. It was so annoying, and then I find out he's deleting content from pages. No, just no.
Now that we got that mess out of the way, I was wondering if you're pleased with the templates? Daniel.safe35 and I thought they looked more attractive as they matched the color scheme. I was thinking on holding off on the episode template until we update all the characters to the new character template.
See Alan's page history. I did add the new template and Jaume13 reverted the edit. I won't bother with him. It's up to you on what you want to do with him.
The templates are really pleasing to look at with more fields for the Character's information. Good job with the templates! As for the Episode template, just add the template to the Wiki. We'll not add it to the episodes yet. We'll have time to decide any changes it might need.
There's something wrong with the Infobox Character template (atleast with the Rose article). Any pic I put, is being displayed as just like it was uploaded. It isn't getting shrunken to the Infobox's dimensions. The code seems alright (wrt to the Image field). Just check that out.
Hey, sooo I'm back :) I like the main page redesign, btw :) Also, idea for recurring and minor characters. I was thinking, two episodes shouldn't cut it for being "recurring". Maybe five or more episodes is recurring while 2-4 is minor and then make a category for episodic characters. Just a thought.
I just remembered, I'd need help to add the newer Character template to the characters (the one you added). I thought they gelled well with the color scheme, but Jaume13 doesn't think so. He keeps changing back to the old one. I've been tempted to block him on more than one occassion, but managed to restrain myself.

I havn't seen RaghavD for a bit on the wiki. So I went to your page cause I knew you were also admin, but it didn't say admin on your page, so I came back here, I also knew you were gone, so that was another thing.
OK, I'm sorry and I don't do it again. But, let me ask you a question, why we need to put the main cast in every episode? I mean, everybody knows who are the actors of Two and a Half Men. Another think is that we put the guest stars (the guest actors who appear in the episode). Well, but you're the admin, this is your wiki so we do what you say. But please, tell me what you think about I told you. Goodbye buddy!
It's true that anyone who watches the show regularly knows who the cast is. But what about the person who just saw TAAHM episode for the first time in his life and visits the wiki for information about the actors? Shouldn't we make sure we have even that information as well? That's why I asked not to delete the information. You should always try to think about a situation from many angles. Cheers! and good job with your edits.

If it's OK with you, let's start with the skin and main page. The current logo looks good to me, but let me know if you want it to be edited or replaced. If you want a new background image, please link me to any large image (1000x700 or larger) that you'd like to be used, if you've seen one.
For the main page, please share any ideas you have. I could make new images for the slider that fit properly (no empty black space). I could also make a characters section that displays thumbnail images of them and links to their page.
Yeah, the logo is fine with me too. The background image too is not a problem. And yes, the slider or the pics have to be resized to eliminate the blank space. I was thinking of the exact thing for the character's section.
Also I'm an admin on Supernatural Wiki. I was thinking if the wiki could have a Browse section similar to the one on Supernatural's main page. See this.
It could contain Main Characters, Recurring Characters and Minor Characters along with another section for the Cast just like I described for the Characters.
How do I prevent just any editor from re-naming a page?
This is something that can only be done by staff. I just changed the page rename setting for normal users from allowed to not allowed.
For the characters section, please tell me which characters you want to appear. Same goes for the browse section; tell me what pages you want featured there. Also, if there are any specific images you want to be used for these two sections, please link me to them. If not, I can just grab an image from the pages themselves.
Oh, and for the slider images, I'll just use the current images but resize them so they perfectly fit the slider's dimensions (670x360). If you want to use any different images, let me know.
I updated the main page to add the character portals, Browse section and improved slider images.
I also slightly edited the header template to make the corners round and the text centered. Let me know if there's anything else you want me to do on the main page.
If that's all for the main page, I'll move on to templates. You said you wanted help with templates for episodes, seasons, recurring characters and minor characters. Please share with me any details you have about editing these templates.
My main complaint is the theme. Once the theme is set, templates can be created to match the color scheme of the theme. The brown-ish color scheme isn't so attractive. Could you re-do the skin?
I am unable to think of a color to reflect the TV show. Shows like Supernatural, Vampire Diaries deal with dark forces or gore and hence black or red for the Wiki would reflect the show. It woud be great if you could help out with that.
I just set the theme colors to a dark blue (from the background image) and a goldish-orange (from the logo). I think those two colors work together fairly well, but feel free to play around with more colors using the theme designer. Remember that you aren't limited to the few color swatches that appear there; you can enter any HTML color value, which can be obtained by using a site such as colorpicker.com.
Once a new color scheme has been decided, I'll update the colors on the character portals and headers on the main page, then start on templates.

Template:Character already has fields for "First Appearance" and "Last Appearance". If you want a recurring character template that uses different colors, I'd suggest just creating it by copy-pasting the code for the existing template, then adjusting the colors to whatever you want.
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that Wikia just got a few Two and a Half Men videos that could be good for your community! Our videos are actually licensed so there's no chance they will be removed any time in the future like a Youtube video would be. These videos are also viewable worldwide and Wikia has the full license for these videos, which means your wiki can use them anywhere you like!
It would be great if these videos could be used on pages within the wiki, put in a related videos module that is located in the right rail of every page as seen here, or even just added via Special:Videos to be available for use! Please let me know if you need any help adding them on your community, or have feedback on the videos :) If I don't hear back from you by the end of next week, I'll go ahead and start adding videos to help you get started!
You're looking at the number of edits that he's been doing, but you should look at what is he really editing. Most of his edits have been, just adding the episode counts in the Episode template. That type of edits are useless, don't you think? I'll see if he starts adding proper content. Then we'll talk to him. Ours is a small wiki and too many admins aren't necessary.
